previous experience & employment

May 2013 - Present
Senior Graphic Designer at Designers Guild

I currently work as Designer and supervise the teams working on print and the web, so as to keep our brand consistent across all media. I work on a broad selection of projects,
examples including, brochures, bags, packaging and pattern books for print. In addition, I also contribute in the development of the companies website, and the design of e-commerce emails. As a retail brand we work to the seasons and therefore I am used to working under pressure, to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining the high standard expected by the brand.
I work directly with the Creative Director, Tricia Guild, to achieve her vision for design.

5th March 2012 - May 2013
Creative Artworker at Designers Guild

I Joined Designers Guild as an Artworker working as part of the design team.
I was given the creative design concepts from the designer to fix typographically, spot inconsistencies and generally making the file ready for print. From this I gained a good eye for detail and a better technical knowledge of design and the software. I also worked on smaller design projects such as invitations and adverts, getting involved in the creative design
as well as the artworking.

1st June 2011 - Present
Freelance Graphic Designer

I have worked on a number of print projects for clients as a freelancer. The owner of Little Venice Pilates has been my longest standing client, based in West London, to produce all of
her marketing material, from business cards to fliers and posters. Additionally I have recently started working with a housing development company to design brochures for new property developments. I enjoy this as it allows me to work on a more varied selection of projects and helps me develop my skills working directly with a client and producing work that they will
be happy with.

31st October - 25th November 2011
Dragon Rouge

During my placement at Dragon Rouge, I got to work on projects for both business brands and consumer brands. I found both really interesting and felt I learnt new skills, particularly in the field of consumer brands and product visualisation.

22nd August - 16th September 2011
SO Creative Studio

My months placement at SO Creative gave me a great insight into the workings of a small design agency in London and I got to see projects through from initial ideas to the
pitching stage.
